I got two Airwick Luminere starter kits, 2 packs Rayovac Batteries, and 4 packs of Goody's Ouchless Ponytail Holders.
My total before tax was $0.74!
However, my total after tax was $2.61! Can you believe the tax was so much! Crazy!
I also scored a newspaper subscription today. I had been buying the paper on Sundays for $1.25, and then on Wednesdays for 50 cents. So the deal is that I get it home delivered for $1.50 a week! All seven days!! For six full months, starting today!
Super exciting stuff!!

Very nice! I'm not quite brave enough to wander into other stores yet. And, y'all's newspapers are cheap! The Commerical Appeal here is $2.00 on Sundays and a subscription is $11/month.
Our paper is like $13 a month, but I just happened to walk into a Kroger where they had a dude selling the deals. So I jumped on it. I always hear not to buy it at the normal price--that people will wait in the grocery stores around here selling the subscriptions, but I've never been lucky enough to encounter one--until that day!!
I've been noticing your great deals. I've never understood how to coupon etc. So do you give lessons? or are you just going to write a Couponing for Dummies book that I can buy? ;) I'm really serious about learning how to get deals without spending a lot.
